This Privacy Policy explains how KeepUp Counter ("the App", "we", "us")
collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the App. By using KeepUp Counter,
you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign up with email, Google, or Apple,
we collect your email address and a display name. If you use Sign in with Apple,
Apple may provide a private relay email that hides your real address. You may also play
anonymously without providing personal details.
- Activity data. Your juggling scores, personal bests, leaderboard entries,
and the groups you create or join.
- Optional shared links. If you choose to attach a link (e.g., a social
video) to a leaderboard entry, that link is stored with your score.
- Device & usage data. Standard technical data and advertising identifiers
used by our advertising and analytics providers (see Section 4).
2. Camera & Video
- Camera. The App uses your camera to detect a ball and count juggles.
This processing happens on your device; camera frames are not uploaded to
our servers.
- Screen/video recording. A recording of your session may be created on
your device so you can save or share it. We do not upload or store these videos — they remain
on your device unless you choose to share or save them.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account.
- To save your scores and show global and group leaderboards.
- To operate private groups and group records.
- To process in-app purchases (e.g., removing ads).
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the App.
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third parties that process data under their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore) — accounts, scores,

- Google AdMob — advertising for non-premium users; may use advertising

- Apple App Store / Google Play Billing — in-app purchases. We never receive
your full payment card details.
- Sign in with Google / Apple — authentication providers.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your username and scores are visible to other users
on leaderboards and within groups you join. Videos are shared only when you explicitly use the
share feature.
6. Data Retention & Account Deletion
We keep your account data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your
account and associated data at any time from within the App:
Settings → Delete Account. This removes your profile document and your
authentication account. Aggregate or anonymized leaderboard data may be retained.
7. Children
KeepUp Counter is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your
region). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child
has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.
8. Security
We use industry-standard measures (including Google Firebase security) to protect your data.
No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal
data. You can exercise deletion directly in the App, or contact us for other requests.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating
the "Last updated" date above.
